Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino makes six changes to his starting XI following Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in the Europa League.
Eric Dier comes in for Federico Fazio in central defence, while Danny Rose replaces Ben Davies at left-back.
Paulinho drops to the bench to make way for Ryan Mason, who partners Nabil Bentaleb in midfield.
Andros Townsend is the only member of Tottenham’s attacking quartet to keep his place in the starting XI.
Townsend plays alongside Erik Lamela and Mousa Dembele, just behind Harry Kane, who displaces Roberto Soldado.
Christian Eriksen had started all 25 of Tottenham’s Premier League games before today, but the Danish playmaker is only among the subs.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has named his strongest side available, with Alex Song, Enner Valencia and Stewart Downing all starting.
