City in stunning move for former Liverpool striker.
Manchester City could be ready to pay as much as £100m to sign Barcelona striker and former Liverpool hero Luis Suarez this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Uruguayan was back in England this week to score twice against City at the Etihad Stadium as Barca took a 2-1 first leg victory against Manuel Pellegrini’s men in the Champions League.
City have been linked with Suarez in the past, and may now be preparing to make the South American forward the most expensive player of all time in a bid to lure him back to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old cost Barca £75m last summer, but has not always been at his best at the Nou Camp, though he previously shone in English football during his time at Liverpool.
