Journalist Reveals Truth Behind Man United’s Move For Brazilian Defender

Could United be getting another Brazilian at full-back?

Manchester United have no interest in signing Porto full-back Danilo, despite numerous reports claiming so, according to Daily Mail journalist Mike Keegan.

Keegan also revealed that it was his understanding the Brazilian would now move to Real, with a deal all but complete.

Just this week United were linked with an astonishing £36 million move for the 23-year-old, with Spanish news source Sport saying the club would pay his release clause to secure his services.

However, this appears to be a false dawn if these latest claims from Keegan are to be believed.

The Red Devils are in need of a right-back, with Louis van Gaal untrusting of and reluctant to play Rafael – which has seen Antonio Valencia and Paddy McNair deputise on the right side of defence.

United have been linked with deals for numerous full-backs, particularly Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne and Barcelona’s Dani Alves. No concrete move, as yet, has materialised however, so the search continues.
