Here are the player ratings for Tottenham’s 2-1 win over QPR:
GK) Hugo Lloris – 6.5
Saved his side a number of times, with Kyle Walker particularly grateful when Lloris denied Charlie Austin after a shocking back pass.
RB) Kyle Walker – 5.5
Solid going forward, and put a few good crosses in. His defending was poor for the most part however, and he almost gifted Austin a goal.
CB) Eric Dier – 6.5
A decent performance in the centre of defence, but struggled against the physicality of Bobby Zamora.
CB) Jan Vertonghen – 6.5
A shaky showing from the Belgian, and Spurs would have been punished if they were facing a better team.
LB) Ben Davies – 7.0
Didn’t get forward as much as Walker, but was far more solid defensively and far less wasteful in possession.
