PSG Star Wished He Worked With Chelsea Boss Jose Mourinho Longer

Ibrahimovic was sensational in the first leg and will no doubt be hoping to decide the tie on Wednesday.

Paris Saint Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he wished to work for longer than a year with Jose Mourinho during his time at Inter Milan, before the Swede was sold to Barcelona.

Ibrahimovic and Mourinho won the Serie A title together in 2009, before a swap deal with Samuel Eto’o meant that the PSG star ended up at joining forces with Pep Guardiola at the Camp Nou.

Jose Mourinho would go on to do the treble at Inter, defeating Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League, on the way to winning the competition.

Ibrahimovic lines up against Mourinho at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening hoping to eliminate Chelsea and take PSG to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.

“I had a great experience with Jose,” Ibrahimovic told Telefoot (via Evening Standard).

“We worked together for one year at Inter. The feeling was great between us and my only regret is that we were together for only one year.”
