It only took Zlatan three minutes to make his first pivotal impact against Lorient at the Parc des Princes in Friday evening. The Swedish striker charged toward goal only to be brought down by Merlus stopper Benjamin Lemonte.

He made no mistake from the spot to give PSG an early lead.

Zlatan again stepped up from the penalty spot late on to put Paris back ahead after Jordan Ayew had drawn them level with an excellent effort.

The second spotkick came after Lamine Kone gave away a penalty when he brought down Javier Pastore.

That effort ensured that four of Zlatan’s last five goals in Ligue 1 had come from the penalty spot. However, as if to remind spectators that he could still do it in open play, the Swedish superstar rounded-off PSG’s victory with this fine effort in the dying stages.
