The 30 year old Spanish international has had an up and down time of it since leaving Athletic Bilbao for Turin back in July 2013, bagging 18 goals in his debut campaign but managing just four Serie A strikes this term.

Pochettino will look to sell Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado to make room for Llorente according to talkSPORT, though one wonders how easy it will be to find buyers for the duo.

The White Hart Lane side look set to lose out in the race for a top four finish and they may well have fallen further down the table had it not been for the fine form shown by England man Harry Kane.

The 21 year old has bagged 29 goals in all competition, and leads the Premier League goal-scoring charts with 19, and this has made up for the failings of the aforementioned Spurs strikers.
