Stamford Bridge side chase Dynamo Kiev star.
Talented Dynamo Kiev wide-attacker Andriy Yarmolenko is keen to secure a move to Chelsea despite Liverpool also pursuing the Ukraine international according to the Metro.
The 25 year old forward is set to make a high-profile move this summer and a move to Stamford Bridge is apparently ‘on the cards’ though one wonders quite where Jose Mourinho would find space to field Yarmolenko into his starting eleven.
The goal-scoring winger has been in fine form this term, scoring 15 goals in 29 appearances, and is said to prefer the prospect of a move to West London over Merseyside.
Mourinho brought in Juan Cuadrado in January to boost his wide-attacking options but the Colombian has barely featured and as such perhaps the Chelsea manager is now looking at alternatives.
Though Chelsea are easing towards their first Premier League title since 2010 it’s likely Mourinho would look to strengthen his squad for the coming campaign with the emphasis on securing continental success as well as winning domestic honours.
