Real Madrid are plotting a £15m bid for Arsenal’s Champions League tormentor and transfer target Geoffrey Kondogbia, after Monaco were knocked out of the Champions League this week, according to the Daily Star.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid are looking to sign two midfielders this season, with Dortmund man Marco Reus also heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has caught the eye and won admirers in this season’s impressive Champions League campaign for Monaco, attracting envious glances from Arsenal as well after they were dumped out at the hands of the Ligue 1 club.
Along with Real Madrid and Arsenal, the Daily Star report that Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the midfielder. They were allegedly considering a summer bid, despite the fact that he was being tracked by the Gunners.
Los Blancos though, have now turned their attentions to the player – who used to play for Sevilla in La Liga – after they suffered a setback in their pursuit of Juventus man Paul Pogba.
