Zlatan Ibrahimovic is known for being something of a tempestuous character, however it seems he left his passion at home on Saturday during Paris Saint-Germain’s home match vs. LOSC Lille.
PSG started the game outstandingly. They opened the scoring after 25 seconds, without Lille ever having touched the ball, after Maxwell found space before scoring with aplomb.
How did Zlatan—watching on from the stands as he serves his suspension—celebrate?
A bit of fist pumping? A wry smile? A delighted hug with his teammates?
Not for our favourite Swede…who merely picked his ear and stroked his goatee…
Moments later, Laurent Blanc’s side were 2-0 up, when Edinson Cavani—who appeared to exasperate Zlatan during the side’s Champions League elimination at the hands of Barcelona—chipped the ball exquisitely over Vincent Enyeama.
As PSG moved to the top of the league, as they closed in on another French title, Zlatan finally showed a tiny smidgen of joy.
A gentle applause….nothing more.
It seems that even when Cavani scores a terrific goal, Zlatan can’t quite muster a smile.
