Arsenal will compete with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur to sign Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie in the summer transfer window, it has emerged.
The DR Congo international has caught the eye in the Premier League this season, showing himself to be an entertaining player with plenty of natural ability and flair out wide, making him a rumoured transfer target for bigger clubs.
Eagles boss Alan Pardew has insisted Bolasie will only leave for a fee in the region of £40m, though Arsenal are confident they can sign him for around half that price, according to the Metro.
Arsenal already have plenty of quality in the wide areas, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck competing for a place in the team, but there may still be room for improvement.
Spurs and Liverpool will be the Gunners’ main rivals for the Palace star, who could relish the chance to prove himself at a bigger club.
