Emirates Stadium side look to bring in talented wide-man for half his price-tag.
Arsenal are surprisingly preparing a summer move for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie according to the Metro.
The 25 year old DR Congo international has been in fine form of late but a move by the Gunners for the Eagles wide-man would still be something of a shock given the options available to Arsene Wenger in his current squad set-up.
Wenger has a host of wide-attackers to pick from at present with the likes of Santi Cazorla, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott among those he can call upon.
Selhurst Park boss Alan Pardew has placed a £40m price-tag on Bolasie but Arsenal feel he can be snapped up for half that fee.
Bolasie has been excellent since Pardew’s arrival at Crystal Palace, his 11 minute hat-trick against Sunderland a real highlight, and it appears a host of sides may be set to make offers for the French born attacker this summer.
