It’s all level on the night at the Allianz Arena, as Robert Lewandowski has netted a superb equaliser for Bayern Munich, but the Bundesliga giants still need four goals to beat Barcelona to a place in the Champions League final.
Pep Guardiola’s side could have – and perhaps should have – scored more than the two they have managed; but Barca keeper Ter Stegen has been in fine form.
Nonetheless, despite Stegen’s superb performance so far, he could only look on helplessly while Lewandowski curled in an effortless equaliser into the far corner.
30 minutes and four goals needed… Is the comeback possible for the Bavarians?
With Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in such devastating form, the Bundesliga outfit can only hope that their opposition step off the boil for the remaining thirty minutes.
It was the Poland international’s 24th of the season, and it was certainly one he’ll remember, as the striker made Barca’s Mascherano look amateur in defence.
