The Ivorian central midfielder may well be coming to the end of his time at the Etihad Stadium, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus being named as potential destinations for the central midfielder.

However, Inter Milan may well be favourites for the veteran, with coach Roberto Mancini keen for a reunion with the player who helped win him both the FA Cup and the Premier League title during his time at City.

In order to secure the signing of Toure, la Gazzetta dello Sport indicated that Manicini would be willing to part with one of his prized assets, Croatian midfielder Kovacic.

The 21-year-old is a thrilling prospect, and is believed to be in the plans of Barcelona, although Liverpool are also thought to be keen on the player.

Inter had previously refused to countenance the idea of selling one of their outstanding talents, but as Mancini grows anxious not to miss out on Yaya, he will see the potential 18 to 20M€ windfall from the Croatian as a valuable contribution to signing the West African.
