Kevin Wimmer confirms Tottenham summer transfer

The 21-year-old continued his stellar season for the White Hart Lane outfit by putting away his 32nd goal of the campaign. However, manager Mauricio Pochettino may actually be unhappy with this latest strike, with it meaning that Spurs are set to qualify for the Europa League. Playing in the competition has been blamed for making them come up short in the race to get in to the Champions League in recent years.

It was a great header from the striker to get past Tim Howard after a period of domination from Tottenham. He got between centre-backs John Stones and Phil Jagielka to nod it in to the corner, leaving the American without a chance of stopping it.

For the Toffees it is a less important goal, with only a place in the top half to fight for. However, were they to drop out of the top ten it will be the first time they have done so since 2006.
