According to HITC, 22 year old Luan is one of the best prospects to emerge from Brazilian football in many years, and has piqued attention across Europe.

He only made in debut with Vasco da Gama in 2012, but helped them win the Carioca Championship this year and has been integral in helping his side keep two clean sheets in the first three games of the national Serie A.

Given the player only has two years remaining on his current deal in Brazil, it is thought he could be available for transfer for as little as £3 million, putting him well within the range of many European clubs.

In addition to Spurs and Liverpool, Wolfsburg, Napoli, Udinese, and Valencia are all thought to be keen.
