Tottenham are planning a move for Bayern Munich star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, according to the Metro.
The 19-year-old has had a lack of opportunities at the Allianz Arena, and could move in order to get more game time. This is despite the Bavarian side rating the youngster highly, and allowing him loan periods in order to get more minutes. For example in the second half of the season the midfielder was farmed out to Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg.
During his time with the lesser side the Denmark international managed two goals and three assists in 16 appearances in the German top flight. Also, perhaps embarrassingly for Spurs, the midfielder has won more in his career so far than they have in the past three decades. He already has two Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokal Cups, and a Champions League to his name despite playing bit parts in all of them.
Both Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason both played well for the North London club in central midfield this season, but the Bayern ace would be an improvement on both of these players.
