Tottenham star Hugo Lloris is keen on a move to Manchester United amid rumours he will be a David De Gea’s replacement at the club, reports French publication Le10 Sport.
The Red Devils may be in the market for a new goalkeeper if their current number one leaves for Real Madrid, which the report expects to go ahead. If this does happen then United will apparently start their search at White Hart Lane, with the France international firmly in their sights.
The 28-year-old has become a key part of the Spurs team since joining in 2012, and would be missed hugely if he decided to leave. However, with Champions League football being offered at Old Trafford the player could well try and agitate for a move away.
The North London club’s chairman Daniel Levy is well known for his tough negotiating, but even he may have to accept an offer if the goalie wants to leave. Manager Mauricio Pochettino may then have to look for a replacement, with current backup Michel Vorm not looking too reliable between the sticks so far.
