Chelsea star and international striker targeted by new West Ham boss Slaven Bilic
The 28 year old French international finished last term as the leading assist maker in Ligue 1 and was the subject of failed £12m bid from the Hammers earlier this month and a new offer of £14m will soon be registered.
New Upton Park boss Slaven Bilic is keen to strengthen his squad this summer and a move for Payet will certainly add a burst of creativity to his options in the final third.
Payet moved to Marseille in 2013 and the winger is a regular in Didier Deschamps’ national team set-up.
Bilic has already secured the services of Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria in a £4.4m deal.
