Arsenal and Liverpool £9m transfer target makes decisive statement on future

Barcelona’s Marc Bartra has confirmed that he is not listening to offers from other clubs and not planning on leaving the Camp Nou any time soon.

La Masia product Bartra, who can feature on the right-side of the defence, or as a centre-back, has been heavily linked with a move away from Barca in recent weeks.

The defender has piqued the interest of both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, according to the Daily Mail, with the tabloid reporting that the defender could be available for £9 million.

The English source also reported that FC Porto were keen on the defender, and looked set to compete with the EPL heavyweights.

Similarly, the 24-year-old had attracted interest from both Arsenal and FC Porto [Express], with the pair supposedly seeing in Bartra a player who could offer both resiliency and technical poise to their respective defences.

Sky Sport Italia [via the Express], even reported that the Naples heavyweights had agreed a €12m (£8.4m) plus €3m (£2.1m) deal for the defender.

According to Sport [via the Mirror], however, the defender has not agreed a move to the Partenopei and sees his future at the Nou Camp.
