Gerard Pique’s ‘six refs’ rant goes VIRAL after Barcelona 5-4 Sevilla [Twitter]

A Lionel Messi-inspired Barcelona may have beaten Sevilla 5-4 in one of the most memorable finals in recent memory, but one Catalan star certainly wasn’t happy during one moment of the match.

Spain centre-back Gerard Pique—who was surely in a foul mood after having seen his defence breached four times by reigning Europa League champions Sevilla—felt hard done by after receiving an elbow in the face from Ciro Immobile.

The Italian forward’s gesture clearly wasn’t all that impactful, Pique didn’t even drop to the ground, but he still felt that a grave injustice had been done to him.

The defender stormed after the match officials shouting that despite the presence of six match officials, none of them had spotted the supposed infraction.

One suspects he might have learned one or two of these intimidatory gestures from his time at Manchester United, when the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Roy Keane and Rio Ferdinand might have given him a lesson or two at how to rage at a referee!
