Edin Dzeko‘s departure from Manchester City was confirmed on Wednesday afternoon as he sealed a season-long loan move to Serie A giants AS Roma.

The Bosnian had to wait three months for his first goal in the league for City following his transfer from Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg in the 2011 January transfer window.

His 75th minute winner edged the club even closer to Champions League football and that allowed the club to attract top quality players such as Sergio Aguero.
