Manchester United to be offered replacement plus CASH for key star

Real Madrid are ready to offer Manchester United Keylor Navas plush cash in return for David De Gea, reports the Daily Mail.

The 24-year-old has been strongly linked to Los Merengues throughout the summer, but nothing has materialised regarding a move as of yet. With the goalkeeper’s contract running out next summer, it could be that he sees it out and then moves to the Bernabeu on a free transfer.

However, despite standing firm throughout the window, this deal may entice the Red Devils in to selling their star player. In Navas they would get a direct replacement for the Spain international, although the amount of ‘cash’ is not specified by the Mail.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is keen to make a big-name signing, despite having already brought in Mateo Kovacic. Real have brought in players such as Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez in recent years, and another marquee transfer is what Perez wants. They are willing to use Navas as a part of the deal as they don’t want to have three stoppers in their squad after recently signing Kika Casilla.
