Arsenal plan shock move to re-sign former Gunners midfielder in £15m deal

Wow – Wenger wants £15m man back at Arsenal this January!

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a surprise move to re-sign Turkish midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup in the January transfer window, according to Turkish Football.

The 23-year-old is currently with Besiktas and performing very well, having become a regular in their first-team in the last few years despite failing to make it in his first spell with the Gunners.

Ozyakup left Arsenal for Besiktas back in 2012, and has now notched up 13 goals and 28 assists in 108 appearances, as well as becoming a regular for the Turkish national team.

Arsenal have had an inconsistent start to the season, and could do with improvements in a number of areas, including central midfield, where they have become overly reliant on Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla, with little in the way of backup in that area.
