Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez emerges as bookies’ early favourite to scoop PFA Player of the Year award

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has apparently emerged as the early favourite to pick up the PFA Player of the Year award at the end of the campaign, according to the Metro.

The Chilean has already hit the net six times in the Premier League this season and SkyBet have already made the 26-year-old 3/1 favourite to lift the gong at the end of the season.

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, who was crowned English football’s best player last campaign, is down at 25/1 after an extremely disappointing start to the season.

Elsewhere, Sanchez’s Arsenal teammate Mesut Ozil can also be found as a candidate but at much shorter odds than Hazard at 20/1.
