(Video) Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado secures Juventus triumph with 93rd-minute goal

As Chelsea flounder in the Premier League—losing 3-1 at home to Liverpool—one of their rejected players Juan Cuadrado has won the Derby of Turin for Juventus.

The Old Lady have endured a miserable start to the season, and, heading into this fixture, they found themselves down in 12th place in the Serie A table heading into Saturday evening’s clash with neighbours Torino.

Juve had already lost four of their opening ten matches heading into the match with Il Toro who, by contrast, sat in ninth after a promising start to the campaign.

Paul Pogba’s wondergoal opened the scoring for Juve, but that effort was cancelled out after half time when Cesare Bovo lashed an effort into the roof of Gianluigi Buffon’s net from outside the box.

The game looked set to be heading towards a draw as the two teams played into extra time, but Cuadrado had other ideas.

The Colombian wideman—who has been impressive in Italy since leaving Chelsea in the summer—popped up to touch the ball past Daniele Padelli at the death.

Surely Mourinho could have done with the unpredictable South American star today as his uninspired Pensioners side fell to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
