Man United transfer roundup: Lewandowski move, Anderson offer, Atletico star

Another day, another boring – mostly scoreless – performance by Manchester United. If not for a late penalty kick from Wayne Rooney, the Red Devils would have been forced into a second game against lowly Sheffield United after being held scoreless yet again.

The fact that they won may have saved Louis van Gaal’s job (for now) but unless they get some more goal scorers quickly, Man United won’t be a contender in the FA Cup or Premier League for much longer.

Here is the Man United transfer roundup for Saturday:

Saul Niguez bid made

Man United are launching a £15 million bid for the Atletico Madrid midfielder. Spanish journalist Antonio Ruiz, reported that the Red Devils are hoping to land Niguez in either the January or summer transfer window. [Source: Metro]

Huge offer for Felipe Anderson made

Man United have made an offer of £37.6m to the Serie A giants in exchange for the 22-year-old Brazilian. The deal is reportedly a £30 million up front transfer fee with and an extra £7.6 million in future fees. [Source: Metro]

Robert Lewandowski considering transfer move

Bayern Munich’s scoring machine is reportedly interested in pursuing a new challenge and is considering a move to the Premier League or La Liga. Man United have significant interest in the £70 million-rated striker but would have to outbid the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid to seal the deal. [Source: Metro]
