Chelsea midfield starlet set for 18-month La Liga loan spell

Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda looks to finally have resolved his short term future this week with reports claiming that he will join Spanish side Real Betis on loan for the remainder of the season and into next term.

The Belgian starlet has been the subject of intense speculation recently with a number of clubs all thought to be keen on snapping him up, and the player himself has expressed a proclivity for sealing a move away in search of more regular game time.

But it now seems as though he’s got his wish, and will be heading to Seville for the next 18-months, though Betis will not have the option to buy the player outright at the end of the deal.

Though Musonda or Chelsea have yet to confirm the deal, HLN journalist Sven Claes has revealed that there is a deal in place via his Twitter account.

With no option to buy at the end of the spell, it would suggest that Musonda has a long-term future at the club still.
