Louis van Gaal admits that NOBODY fears Manchester United anymore

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has confessed that the club has lost their fear factor as they gear up to take on lowly Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup on Monday night, according to The Sun.

The Red Devils were considered one of the greatest forces in world football when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge and trophies were never in short supply.

However, over the past ten days they’ve seen themselves beaten by relegation threatened Sunderland and Danish side FC Midtjylland in the Europa League.

But having failed to win 18 of their past 27 games, the manager feels the only way they’ll get their fear factor back is to go on a winning streak.

“When you see the last two games it is maybe like that. But then we have to make them fear again,” he said.

“We lost the first match in the Premier League also, Swansea, when I came. But then we still had a very good home record last season.

“We can do that again. It is a question of winning matches in a row.”
