Ronaldinho transfer: Brazil legend contacted by Turkish giants

Posted by

According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor are keen on signing Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.

The playmaker is currently a free agent having left Fluminense last year, and as per AMK, the Turkish heavyweights are eyeing a move for the attacker.

The club are opening their new Akyazi Stadium next season, the year in which they will also celebrate their golden anniversary, having been founded in 1967.

Keen to pack their new ground, and celebrate their half-centenary in style, Trabzonspor are understood to have made Ronaldinho their primary transfer target.

The club are hoping that Ronnie—who previously represented the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan—is keen on returning to Europe.

The attacking midfielder won two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Barca, while he also claimed the Italian title during his time with Milan.

He won the World Cup in 2002 and remains one of Brazil’s all-time greats.
