Father of Man City transfer target & Real Madrid playmaker reveals that Juventus are keen on his boy

Paco Alarcon—the father of Real Madrid playmaker Isco—has confirmed that Juventus are keen on his son.

The attacking midfielder has struggled to establish himself in the Merengues first team this season, under both Rafael Benitez and Zinedine Zidane.

The Spain international has made just 19 starts in the Spanish top flight this season, contributing seven assists and scoring two goals.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City in recent transfer windows, although it remains to be seen whether, with his mentor Manuel Pellegrini moving on, the Citizens retain an interest in the technical master.

However, City face competition.

According to Todo Mercado Web—speaking exclusively to the player’s father—Juventus are also keen on the midfielder.

“Yes, interest from Juventus exists,” Alarcon began. “It has been ongoing for some time, but there haven’t been any official offers yet.”

The player’s dad proceeded to confirm, however, that Isco’s preference would be to remain with Los Blancos.
