Champions League: Real Madrid ELIMINATE Man City, will face Atletico Madrid in Champions League Final

Real Madrid are advancing to the UEFA Champions League Final after knocking off Manchester City in the Champions League Semi-Finals.

The Citizens were done no favours early in the game as Vincent Kompany went down with an injury after less than ten minutes on the pitch. The added presence of Cristiano Ronaldo up front proved too much for Man City to handle as they struggled at key stretches of the game to get possession.

An own goal by Fernando off a deflected shot from Gareth Bale …. was all Los Blancos needed at the Bernabeu to get the win and secure their second trip to the Final in three years.

In the 2014 UEFA Champions League Final, Real Madrid defeateed Atletico Madrid 4-1 in added time. Ronaldo scored the equalizer at 90+3′ to secure the added time, then Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Ronaldo scored three more goals in the extra 30 minutes to seal the win.

The Champions League Final will be played on Saturday May 28 at San Siro in Milan, Italy.
