Twenty-three goals in 42 Championship games. These are Andre Gray’s vital statistics at the end of what has been a brilliant season for Burnley.

Gray – a big-money buy from Brentford in August – scored Burnley’s 72nd league goal of the season to complete a 3-0 win at already-relegated Charlton Athletic on the final day.

The result guaranteed that the Clarets went up to the Premier League as champions, ahead of Middlesbrough – who edged rivals Brighton on goal difference following a tense 1-1 draw at the Riverside.
