Aston Villa issues come-and-get-me-plea to Turkish giants

Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew has issued a come-and-get-me-plea to Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray.

According to the Turkish sports outlet Fotospor, the 24-year-old wants out of Aston Villa after the club were relegated from the Premier League. Roberto Di Mateo’s side will compete in the Championship next season.

The report states that Ayew’s agent has offered his client to the Lions who are considering a loan bid. However, the Ghana international who joined Villa for £10.2 million from the Ligue 1 side Lorient last year has four years left on his current deal with the Villans.

Galatsaray are on the lookout for a new striker after they offloaded their top scorer Burak Yilmaz to the Chinese club Beijing Guoan in January.

Ayew was Aston Villa’s top scorer last season with seven goals in 36 games. The 24-year-old recently joined Villa for pre-season training ahead of the 2016-17 English Championship campaign.
