Arsenal’s star striker Olivier Giroud will have to prepare for yet another barrage of criticism after missing a guilt edged chance during France’s scoreless draw with Belarus this evening.
The powerful forward was slid through on goal by Antoine Griezmann however, Giroud was unable to convert the chance into a goal and ended up missing the target completely.
The 29-year-old was later taken off and received a hostile reception from French fans.

Giroud is expected to return for Arsenal this weekend after missing the opening three Premier League games of the season. The striker was given an extended break after leading France to the Euro 2016 final over the summer.
Arsenal host Southampton at the Emirates stadium this weekend. The Gunners will be looking to build upon their first win of the season which they recorded over Watford FC.
Giroud provided six assists and scored 16 goals in 38 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season.
