(Video) Double Dele Alli nutmeg leaves Bournemouth red faced but Tottenham can’t find way past

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli livened up what was otherwise a difficult opening 45 minutes for his side at Bournemouth on Saturday with this delightful bit of skill.

The England international pulled off not one but two nutmegs to leave his opposing midfielders slightly red-faced having been left behind as he charged forward.

However, more importantly it didn’t lead anywhere as Spurs weren’t able to find a breakthrough on a tough afternoon for them at the Vitality Stadium.

Both sides had their chances with Hugo Lloris pulling off a great save early on while Erik Lamela struck the woodwork with a long range effort.

Despite the fact that they both threatened, neither side were able to break the deadlock while Lamela was slightly fortunate to stay on the pitch after committing a foul having already been booked.

Referee Craig Pawson gave him the benefit of the doubt and awarded just a free-kick, but Mauricio Pochettino will certainly have plenty to think about during the half-time interval.
