Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been out of the team for big games in recent weeks, but he responded on Saturday at West Bromwich Albion.
The Argentine international has had to settle for a place on the bench for clashes with Barcelona and Manchester United this month, leading to some raising their eyebrows over whether or not he fits into what Pep Guardiola wants from his team.
If there were indeed any doubts, then Aguero responded with aplomb on Saturday with a brace in the first half against the Baggies, while he produced this world-class finish to grab his second of the game.

With his ability to run in behind defences and offer something more direct for City, it’s clear that the former Atletico Madrid star has a big role to play for Guardiola moving forward.
While he may not have suited what the Spanish tactician wanted in those particular games mentioned above, his clinical edge in front of goal still makes him a pivotal part of City’s pursuit of silverware this season as he continues to show his quality with his ninth goal of the campaign in all competitions.
