My name is Andy and I’m a Football Manager addict.
Football Manager addiction is a serious problem.
I have lost 375 hours to FM16 so far. And the game has the cheek to tell me that number, safe in the knowledge that I’ll keep playing, because it’s got me licked.
Football Manager addiction steals daylight, friends, showers and much worse.
It can be very lonely (although not for me – I’ve got nine coaches and seven scouts to keep me company).
But, fellow addicts, please know you are not alone. There are many people out there just like you.
Football Manager addiction can take anyone, be they young, old, rich or poor.
And it seems to have sunk its nasty teeth into former Arsenal, Liverpool and Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant.
Pennant’s wife, Alice Goodwin, shared a Snapchat story this weekend. Jermaine featured in it twice – first sitting on the sofa and then again as he prepared to get into bed.
On both occasions Jermaine’s laptop was with him. And, as you can see on the second photo (below), he’s off the FM wagon!
Jermaine, I have not met you. But I know you. And I will pray for you.
