Real Madrid are reportedly keeping a close eye on Dele Alli’s situation at Tottenham amid reports that he’s held talks over hiring super-agent Jorge Mendes as his new representative.
The England international has shone for Spurs in recent seasons, establishing himself as one of the most promising young players on the planet with 39 goals in 109 appearances for the north Londoners.
According to the Daily Mail, Alli and his family have now held formal talks about being Mendes’ latest big-name client, joining the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho on his list.
Marca recently reported that Real Madrid were looking at possible transfers for Alli and Spurs team-mate Harry Kane, who have struck up a fine partnership in attack for Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham have lost their star players to big clubs in the past, with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric recent examples of names to swap White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu.
Alli would be another major blow, though they’d also surely stand to rake in a huge profit for the 21-year-old, with BBC Sport reporting back in 2015 that they paid MK Dons just £5million for him.
