Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi only needed one boot on to finish Real Madrid off in today’s El Clasico victory.
The Argentine forward beat Marcelo on the right-hand side, but his feet were so quick he actually lost a boot in the process, not that that stopped him.
Messi carried on running into the box and kept his cool to square it to Aleix Vidal as he made a burst into the box, with his shot eventually finding its way in for 3-0.
It was a great afternoon for Messi as he scored his 25th goal in this fixture, and his 15th at the Bernabeu.
The 30-year-old has also now scored 526 goals for Barcelona – the most by one player for a single European club.

Oh, and his 54th goal of 2017 also ensured he finished ahead of old rival Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of goals this calendar year, with Harry Kane now the only player who can realistically overtake him if he scores five goals in Spurs’ two games over the festive period.

That’s still not it – Messi’s goal against Real Madrid also means no other player has scored more against Los Blancos in La Liga history.
No wonder he thought he’d make things a bit more interesting by taking them on with one boot!
