Real Madrid star Isco has hit out at media speculation involving him in today’s El Clasico defeat at the hands of Barcelona in La Liga.
The Spain international started the game on the bench in a surprise move by manager Zinedine Zidane, along with other big names like Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio.
AS claimed Isco refused to come on off the bench later in the game, but the player himself has taken to Twitter to slam the rumours and set the record straight.

The 25-year-old insists he already knew which of his team-mates would be brought on, and told AS to ‘stop spreading s**t’.
‘Stop spreading sh** I knew my other two team-mates were already going to be subbed on,’ he said.
‘I didn’t know you could make four changes.’
Today’s result brings an early end to Real’s hopes of retaining their title, leaving them an incredible 14 points behind current leaders Barcelona.
