The agent of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has reportedly been contacting top clubs around Europe to offer his client a transfer this summer.
Supposedly available at an asking price of €150million, Milinkovic-Savic has been strongly linked with Manchester United for much of the summer, with the 23-year-old a known admirer of his fellow Serbian Nemanja Matic.
However, recent reports had suggested Chelsea were also in the running for the player, with new manager Maurizio Sarri knowing him well from his time in Serie A.
The good news for United is, Corriere dello Sport now claim Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman has been in touch offering his client’s services to the Red Devils.
It may be that the player himself favours a move to Old Trafford, and it’s clear he’d be a great fit in this United squad.
Jose Mourinho needs more quality options in the middle of the park after Michael Carrick’s retirement, while Paul Pogba’s future is in some doubt after his struggles to hit top form during his time at Old Trafford.
Milinkovic-Savic could well be an upgrade if he performs as he has with Lazio, and United should have little trouble paying his €150m asking price.
