Man United could have to offer Anthony Martial and £134M Red Devils teammate to bag transfer of Real Madrid superstar

Man United could be forced to offer Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba if they want to land a deal to bring Gareth Bale to Old Trafford from Real Madrid this summer.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that Jose Mourinho has already offered Martial to Real in a deal for Bale, and that this offer isn’t what Los Blancos are looking for in return for the winger.

The same report also states that the club will have to offer more if they want to sign Bale, and that their improved offer will have to include either a cash sum or other Red Devils star Pogba.

The news outlet also state that if United were to offer Martial and Pogba, then Real would be willing to open talks for the winger.

An offer of Pogba and Martial could be enough for the club to land Bale this summer

Don Balon have reported in the past that United rate Pogba at £134M (€150M), something that makes us think that this deal may not be all that worth it for Mourinho and Co.

Despite neither star managing to live up to their full potential since their moves to Old Trafford, swapping both for an injury prone Gareth Bale would surely be bad business from the Red Devils.

The Welshman has missed a huge amount of games for the Spanish giants since his switch from Spurs back in 2013, something that should definitely give United a cause for concern.

United, if they go through with this move, would surely be getting the worse end of the bargain here, as Pogba and Martial combined possess a lot more quality than Bale does on his own.

Only time will tell about just how serious United are about signing Bale this summer, and whether they’re willing to go all out to do so…
