Juventus have reportedly launched a €40million bid to seal the transfer of Porto left-back Alex Telles as Alex Sandro is linked with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Italian giants seem to have cause for concern regarding the left-back position as they identify Telles as an option to replace Sandro should he end up joining PSG, according to UOL Esporte, as translated by Football Italia.
Telles has impressed in Portugal and could end up following in the footsteps of his fellow Brazilian Sandro, who also joined Juventus from Porto a few years ago.
Sandro has since become regarded as one of the finest full-backs in the game and it would be little surprise if another top European side snapped him up this summer.
The 27-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United, though the Times now report that they look set to shelve their interest in him for the time being as they’re happy with their options at left-back.
PSG, however, could possibly do with Sandro as an upgrade on their options, and Juve seem prepared for his departure.
The Turin outfit may well need to cash in on one or two star players after spending big on signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid this summer.
