In 22 years Arsene Wenger never congratulated Arsenal players after a good result, according to Twitter user Lord Gooner, anyway.
In this slightly bizarre tweet below, this Gooner suggests Unai Emery waiting in the tunnel to congratulate every player after their friendly win over Chelsea is some sign of big change at the club.

While it’s understandable long-suffering Gooners are glad to see change at the Emirates Stadium after years of under-achievement under Wenger, this kind of fawning over Emery goes rather over the top considering the Spanish tactician has achieved precisely nothing yet – the season hasn’t even started, for crying out loud!
Watch the clip in the tweet below for yourselves, but we’re not sure there’s anything particularly special about this…

As some of the replies point out, there are pictures of Wenger congratulating his players in a similar way.

It seems Emery-mania is going to be the thing to watch on Arsenal Twitter this season – just imagine the mood after a couple of bad results.
Just for good measure, here are a couple of pictures of Wenger celebrating with his players, in case you’re still not convinced…
