Barcelona are reportedly eyeing up a move for Ajax and Holland youngster Matthijs De Ligt this summer to replace Yerry Mina once the Colombian departs.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that the 18-year-old could cost the Spanish giants €15M, and that he would be brought to the Nou Camp as a replacement for Yerry Mina.

Barcelona are eyeing De Ligt as a replacement for flop Yerr Mina this summer

Mina, who Barcelona want at least €45M for as per Mundo Deportivo, hasn’t been that impressive since he joined the club in January, so replacing him with De Ligt could prove to be a very smart move by Ernesto Valverde’s side.

Should Barca manage to snag a deal for De Ligt for just €15M, it would prove to be one of the best bargains of the summer, as the Dutch starlet has already proved for Ajax that is a truly special talent.

The defender has already managed to cement himself in Ajax’s first team despite him being just 18 years old.

Last season, De Ligt was able to clock up a total of 33 appearances in the Eredivise for Ajax, a great accomplishment for a player of his age.

De Ligt has shown that he’s more than capable of playing out from the back and is very comfortable on the ball, something that should see him fit in well at the Nou Camp should he end up signing for Barca.
