Mohamed Salah got Liverpool’s season off to the perfect start this afternoon, as the Egyptian star scored a simple tap-in against West Ham following some fine work from Naby Keita.
Keita, who only joined the club this summer from RB Leipzig, produced a great run to collect the ball before sliding a superb pass to Andy Robertson whose cross allowed Salah to tap home with ease.
Salah’s goal is the 45th he scored in a Liverpool shirt in 53 games since he joined the club from Roma last summer, and Reds fans will be hoping to see him add to that tally at the game goes on.
Here’s a clip of Salah’s strike against the Hammers today. All we can say is, Keita looks like an absolute bargain if his first half display is anything to go by!
