Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez could take up an offer to leave the club next summer should his performance for the Blaugrana not be up to standard.
This is according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, who note that the Uruguayan has offers to seal a move away from the Camp Nou from clubs in China and the USA.
The report states further that depending on his displays this season, the former Liverpool man may very well take up an offer to leave the club next year, and if his performances are poor, he could leave the Catalan giants next summer.
Suarez hasn’t been at his best for a while now, and if this doesn’t change soon, it seems like he could be heading out the exit door at the Nou Camp in a year’s time.
The former Ajax star is yet to score for the Blaugrana this season despite having a whole host of chances against sides like Alaves and Real Valladolid, and if his goalscoring record and overall displays don’t improve, it looks like his time at Barca could be over at the end of the season.
Last season the 31-year-old looked a shadow of his former self despite scoring a total of 31 goals in all competitions.
The forward often struggled to maintain a decent level of performance for the full 90 minutes, and consistently missed absolutely sitters as Ernesto Valverde’s side strolled their way to another league and cup double.
If Suarez does go, Barca will surely dip into the transfer market to buy a replacement for the striker, and should they get the right player, it could be the signing they need to go all the way in the league, cup and Champions League next season.
