Guardiola has admitted he’s keen to keep Sterling at City amid interest from Real Madrid

It’s easy to see why Guardiola wants to see Sterling stay with City, as the former Liverpool man proved to be a key part in their side last season, as the Citizens destroyed all in their path on their way to the Premier League title.

City became the first side ever to achieve 100 points in a single Premier League campaign last year, something Sterling ended up playing a huge part in.

The 23-year-old scored key goals against sides like Southampton, Everton and Huddersfield to help his club break Premier League history last year.

The winger scored 18 and assisted 15 in the league, a record that saw some label him as the best wide player currently plying his trade in the Premier League.

Guardiola definitely seems like he wants to keep Sterling in Manchester, and following his form last year, we can’t really blame him!
