Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly plotting to seal the transfer of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann to replace Kylian Mbappe if he joins Real Madrid.

In a stunning revelation from Spanish outlet Don Balon, PSG are eyeing up a €200million deal to sign Griezmann and fill that void up front as Mbappe becomes the priority target of Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Both French internationals are among the finest attacking players on the planet right now, and shone for Les Bleus as they won the World Cup in the summer.

It’s easy to imagine both could soon be involved in big moves, though it seems we won’t be seeing the pair playing together at club level any time soon.

Mbappe would be ideal for Real after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer, with the 20-year-old clearly an elite talent looking set for a great career at the highest level.

Griezmann, however, would certainly be a fine signing to come in at PSG and form a formidable front-line alongside Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
